Mr. Billy Max Seals, 77, of West Bankhead Highway, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, January 12, 2007 at Haralson County Nursing and Rehab in Bremen, Georgia. He was born April 1, 1929 in Paulding County, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Jessie Paul Seals and the late Pearly Mae Pace Seals. Mr. Seals was a member of the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica, where he was a member of the Unity Sunday School Class. Over the years, he owned several businesses in the area, primarily in the grocery industry. Mr. Seals served in several capacities in the Lions Club, Kiwanis Club and was one of the founding members of the Villa Rica Jaycees. In addition to his parents, Mr. Seals was preceded in death by his daughter, Judie Ann Seals Bailey; his brothers, Raymond Seals and Emmett Seals; and his sisters, Gladys Norton and Mildred Brantly. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Allen Seals of Villa Rica; his daughter and son-in-law, Susan Seals Wix and Thomas Wix of Villa Rica; his son and daughter-in-law, Julius and Judy Parrish of Villa Rica; five grandchildren, Todd and Carol Parrish, Derek and Tracy Parrish, Ginger Parrish, Mary Parrish and Brandon Seals Wix; 4 great grandchildren, Autumn Parrish, Austin Parrish, Alex Parrish and Avery Parrish; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Eddie Allen, Dr. J. B. Marlow and Pastor Jeff Jones officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Rev. Ben Pilgreen and Mr. Rob Alford. The Unity Sunday School Class will serve as honorary escort. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, January 13, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
