Billy McCleary

Mr. Billy Ray McCleary, age 79, of Villa Rica, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015. He was born February 18, 1936 in Piedmont, AL the son of the late Mr. John Thomas McCleary and the late Mrs. Jena Jenkins McCleary. He worked for Aarlin Company for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty McCleary; daughter, Patricia Ann McCleary Bruce; brothers, J. C. McCleary and James McCleary; sisters, Edith McCleary, Frances Bedwell, Evelyn Bracket, and Grace McCleary; one grandchild, Anthony Bruce. He is survived by his wife, Alice Ray Golden McCleary of Villa Rica; daughters, Betty McCleary Tutton of Villa Rica, Kathy Ann McCleary Cogdill of Villa Rica, Dorothy McCleary Bowles of Powder Springs; sons, Billy John McCleary of Yorkville; five step-children, Rev. Barry Golden of Temple, David Golden of Temple, Brenda Taylor of Villa Rica, Dwight Golden of Douglasville, Kathy Adams of Buchanan; sister, Helen McCarity of Douglasville; brothers, Thomas McCleary of Douglasville, Bobby McCleary of Douglasville; eleven grandchildren, Alana, Breila, Michael, Brandon, Timmy, Lisa, Nicholas, Kristen, Mellissa, Crystal and D.J.; ten step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, J. T., Sarah, Skyler, Markus, Zack, Madison, Chad, Kylie, Landon and Brently; eighteen step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, December 18, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Golden officiating.
