Bobby Frank Stewart

Mr. Bobby Frank Stewart, 76, of Wedowee, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 23, 2008 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born December 16, 1931 in Pine Hill, Alabama. He was a carpenter and worked many years building grocery stores. He loved having company and entertaining with “fish fries”. His friends and neighbors referred to him as the “Mayor of Creek Run Road”. He loved cars especially Ford Mustangs. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Darren Stewart and seven of his siblings. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Mark Entrekin of Douglasville and Reginia and Jimmy McCullough of Fairburn; sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Susan Stewart, Wayne and Kelly Stewart and Gene and Connie Stewart all of Douglasville; sisters, Idel Simpson of Bowdon and Mary Wilson of Oxford, AL; brothers, Byrd Stewart of Morrison’s Crossroads, AL and Neil Stewart of Bowdon; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Childers and Rev. Dusty Wammock officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
