Bobby Matthews

Mr. Bobby Kenneth Matthews, 52, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016. A native of Douglasville, he was born June 21, 1964 the son of Mrs. Rose Mary Meggs Matthews and the late Mr. James Taft Matthews. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed doing yardwork. He loved getting together with family for family cookouts. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Matthews. He is survived by his mother, Rose Mary Meggs Matthews of Douglasville; sisters and a brother-in-law, Jeanette and James Allen of Dallas and Roseann Matthews of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, James D. and Louise Matthews of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
