Bobby R Tinsley

Mr. Bobby R. Tinsley, age 80, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 7, 1930 in Bowling Green, Kentucky the son of the late Mr. Eldon Loren Tinsley and the late Mrs. Ruby Herald Tinsley. He was a devoted and active member of South Cobb Baptist Church in Austell and worked as a bookbinder for Geographic Printing. He enjoyed picture framing and was an avid musician, enjoying playing the guitar and the drums. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Wilma Rudisell Tinsley of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Ann and James A. Fowler, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Janelle Hetisimer of Dallas, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jean and Roy Atkinson of Bowling Green, KY; 4 grandchildren, Dawn, Scott, Leah, and Mikey; 3 great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Elizabeth and Gaberial; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM from South Cobb Baptist Church in Austell with Pastor Jimmy Post and Pastor Charles Tinsley officiating. He will lie in state at the church at 12 Noon until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
