Boonsom Chalalai

Boonsom Chalalai, age 87, of Douglasville, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born November 22, 1935 in Bangkok, Thailand. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Sawad Chalalai and the late Mrs. Payom Chalalai. Mrs. Chalalai had a very long career in nursing in Thailand and in the United States.  She was a great cook and enjoyed helping people.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister.

Mrs. Chalalai is survived by her daughter, Sue (Michael) Webb of Douglasville; sister, Somtavil Chalalai and Pasna Chalalai both of Bangkok, Thailand; grandchildren, Michael Webb, Jr., Annie Chalalai McAfee; great grandchild, Mara Malinee Webb.

According to Mrs. Chalalai’s wishes she was cremated. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
