Bradley Stephen Hinchman, known affectionately by those close to him as "B-Rad" or "Gub," passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, in Winston, Georgia at the age of 62. He was born on November 12, 1963, in Michigan, to Mrs. Carol Mueller Hinchman and to the late Mr. Herbert Hinchman.
Bradley grew up in Louisiana and was a man of many remarkable qualities. He had a unique blend of sarcasm, dry humor, and wit that brought smiles and laughter to those around him. His strong will and competitive nature were balanced by an unwavering commitment to his family, whom he loved deeply and saw as his greatest pride and joy. With a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, he carved out a distinguished career at AT&T, dedicating many years to the vital field of cyber security—a testament to his keen intellect and steadfast dedication.
Among his proudest accomplishments was retiring early before reaching 60, a milestone that reflected both his hard work and his determination to provide stability and comfort for his loved ones. Above all, he loved becoming a parent and grandparent and cherished the bond he had with his family - especially treasured the moments spent with his grandchild, Jensen, who brought him immense happiness.
Beyond his professional life, Bradley found great joy in simpler pleasures that spoke to his spirited and adventurous soul. He loved driving his Corvette and rocking his favorite graphic t-shirts with bigfoot or movie quotes on them. He was an outdoor enthusiast at heart, with a particular fondness for hunting and fishing.
In addition to his mother, Bradley is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Mrs. Sue Boatright Hinchman; son, Jason (Sarah) Hinchman; daughter, Allie (Zach) Slotterback; brother, Bert (Leslie) Hinchman; sister, Lana (Walter) Corley; grandchildren, Jensen Slotterback, and Bethany Slotterback, who is due in August.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Bradley Hinchman was cremated. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
