Bradly Wayne Barclay

Bradly “Brad” Wayne Barclay, 48, Villa Rica, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025. He was born on March 8, 1977, the son of Wayne Lanier Barclay and Teresa Lynn Harvell Belcher.

Brad was a devoted father, and he was a guiding light in his son Evan’s life, providing him with a strong and loving foundation that he will carry on for years to come. Their bond was extraordinary, characterized by countless treasured moments they spent together. Whether it was transporting instruments to ballgames or simply sharing laughter in the kitchen while cooking their favorite dish, chicken and rice. Every second they shared was a cherished memory. Brad's dedication to Evan extended beyond fatherhood; he was a tireless volunteer, offering his time not only to his son but also to Evan’s peers and his church family. Brad an amazing dad and he was a cherished member of the Midway Church, where he embraced his Christian faith with love and dedication.

Brad was affectionately known as "Mr. Brad" at his church. His presence there was a source of inspiration and joy for many, and his warm smile had the remarkable ability to brighten even the most challenging days. Brad was loved by many and he created friendships through his generosity, positivity, and willingness to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his deep love for his family and faith, Brad had a profound appreciation for the great outdoors. He found joy in exploring nature, and indulging in the thrill of hunting Sasquatch. These hobbies brought him peace and happiness, allowing him to connect with the world in ways that were uniquely his own.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cass Andrew Harvell and Reba Faye Riggs Harvell; paternal grandmother, Patricia Barclay.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Evan E. Barclay of Villa Rica; paternal; grandfather, Ralph Barclay of Georgia; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM.

Bradly Wayne Barclay's spirit and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, adventure, and faith will forever inspire those left behind, and his memory will live on in the stories shared and the lives he touched.
