Brenda Boyd

Ms. Brenda Faye Boyd, age 55, of Villa Rica, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. She was born October 10, 1959 in Georgia the daughter of Mr. Homer Robert Boyd and Mrs. Ruby Frances Thompson Boyd. She was a caregiver for so many families in the West Georgia area. Ms. Boyd was member of Old Path Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Boyd; sisters, Carolyn Crew and Patsy Lynn Boyd.She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Denise and Johnny Ray Truett of Bremen, Kim and Thurman Pope of Temple, Rod and Britney Crew of Tallapoosa, Michael and Janice Boyd of Buchannan, Christopher and Michelle Boyd of Buchannan; sister-in-law, Cheyra Boyd Causey of Buchannan; great nieces and nephews, Heather Hurston, Ashley Shepherd, Hannah Truett, Jessica Brown, Jeremy Pope, Jennifer Pope, Emily Pirkle, Whitney Maeger, Deliah Crew, Alex Crew, Peyton Crew, Brody Crew, Daniel Muse, Alyssa Boyd, Harmony Boyd, Abel Boyd and Destiny Boyd; ten great-great nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, March 9, 2015 at 2:30 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Bankston and Rev. Wendell Hurston officiating. Interment will follow at Abilene Cemetery in Carrollton. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jeremy Pope, Thurman Pope, Michael Boyd, Chris Boyd, Michael Hurston and Greg Shepherd.
