Brenda Dockery

Mrs. Brenda Sue Waldrop Lockhart Dockery, age 64, of Temple, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015. She was born December 10, 1950 in Douglas County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Raymond Waldrop and the late Mrs. Clara Bell Dobbs Waldrop. She was a retired Childcare Provider. Mrs. Dockery was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, brother-in-law, John W. Allen, Sr.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Kathy Dockery; grandparents, Clifford and Iula Dobbs, Pearl and James Ervie Waldrop; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Bertha Rose Dockery.She is survived by her husband, Joel Ivory Dockery of Temple; sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Sheila Lockhart of Dallas, Corey and Catherine Lockhart of Bowdon, Joel, Jr. and Marlana Dockery of Bremen; sister, Marie W. Allen of Carrollton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene Dockery, Jerry Dockery, Jessie and Linda Dockery, Tim and Sue Dockery, Leonard and Mindy Dockery, Dorothy Dunn, Judy Harvey, Yvonne Harvey, and Sharon Sizemore; ten grandchildren, Alexes, Daviel, Blayne Lockhart of Bowdon, Jacob Owens and Noah Lockhart of Dallas, P, J. and Nathan Allen of Bremen, Mason and Tyler Boatright of Temple, Olivia and Emmie Dockery; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. The family will receive friends, Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral. Interment will follow at Powell Chapel Cemetery.
