Brenda Gray

Mrs. Brenda Gail Driver Gray, age 67, of Villa Rica, passed away, August 7, 2017 at her home after an extended illness. She was born May 23, 1950 the daughter of the late Mr. Earl Driver and the late Mrs. Katie Driver of Temple. She was a talented graphic designer. She loved to read and avidly researched the genealogy of her heritage, the Driver and Rush Families. She also loved her dogs Ginger and Meg. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple. She served as a board member for the Villa Rica Library Advisory Board.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Gray and sister, Connie Driver Land. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Beth Rutledge of Villa Rica; granddaughter, Sydney Rutledge of Villa Rica; stepson and daughter-in-law, Phil and Carmen Gray of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Taylor and Madison Gray of Montgomery, AL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed and Zahara Driver of Armuchee, Jim Driver of Elizabeth City, NC, Wayne Driver of Carrollton, Larry and Carolyn Driver of Fayetteville, and Jerry Driver of Temple; sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Lamar McBurnett of Temple; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Boswell officiating.
