Brenda Sue Holder, age 57, of Winston a beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 21, 2023. Born on August 16, 1965, in Madisonville, Kentucky to the late Mr. William Ray Menser and the late Mrs. Laverna Cleo Simpson, Brenda brought immense joy and love into the lives of those around her. Selfless in all of her ways, she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and kindness that will continue to touch many hearts.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Bobby Mencer, sisters Bonnie Brandt and Beth Shackley.
From an early age, Brenda had a passion for caring for others. After graduating high school and obtaining her nursing certificate, she dedicated herself to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A). Before becoming a C.N.A., she touched the lives of many children as a childcare professional.
Beyond her professional achievements, Brenda was also known for her creative spirit. She had a natural talent for painting especially acrylic landscapes that captured the beauty of nature. In addition to painting, she enjoyed playing the guitar. Above all else, Brenda treasured being called "Guga" by her adored granddaughter Riley. Being a grandmother filled Brenda's heart with boundless love.
Brenda's memory will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to share their lives with her. She leaves behind her loving husband, Paul Holder, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Her children April (Alex) Wilson of Rockmart and Sean (Clay) Davis of Carrollton; sister, Beverly Smith of Salem, MO; granddaughter, Riley; several nieces and nephews.

According to Mrs. Holders wishes, she was cremated. The visitation will start at 1:00 PM before the Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Ephesus Baptist Church in Villa Rica; 8445 Ephesus Church Rd., Villa Rica, GA 30180
