Brenda Diane Wade

Brenda Diane Wade, 70, of Buchanan, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024. She was born December 10, 1953, the daughter of the late Fred Toby James, Sr. and Leila Barnett James.

Brenda’s family meant the world to her and she loved them fiercely. Brenda was a member of West Ga Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She lived life to the fullest traveling and exploring.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie James, Clifford Scott James, Larry James and Terry Dean James.

She survived by husband Johnny Eugene Wade Jr.; step-son, Shane (Joyce Marie) Wade of Temple, and Keith (Kelly) Wade of Polk; sisters, Nancy Furgerson of Temple, Shirley Rushing Lowery of Alabama, Alice Couch of Conerly, Georgia, Shelia Jordan and Cathy James both of Carrollton; brothers, Fred (Inez) James, Jr. of Temple; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the Villa Rica Chapel Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
