Britt Clinton Buckner

Britt Clinton Buckner, 63, of Temple, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He was born on February 8, 1962, the son of Brenda Smith Buckner and the late John Clinton Buckner.

Britt was a proud graduate of Georgia Tech, where he developed a strong foundation not only in his academic pursuits but also in the values that would guide him throughout his life. He was an active member of his church, where his commitment to service and community shone brightly. Britt had a servant's heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

His enthusiasm for life extended beyond his community involvement. He enjoyed spending his free time engaged in hobbies such as golf, fishing, and softball. These passions provided him with opportunities to connect with friends and family in meaningful ways.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Hardison Buckner; son, James Buckner; mother, Brenda Smith Buckner; sister and brother-in-law, Leann and Brandon Burton; brother, Joe Buckner all of Georgia; three nephews, Joshua Buckner, Joe Meadows, and Kyle Powers.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. There are no further arrangements at this time.
