Bruce Bannister

Mr. Bruce Lanier Bannister, Jr., age 59, of Temple, passed away, Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He was born June 25, 1957 in East Point the son of late Mr. Bruce Lanier Bannister, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ethel Martin Bannister. Mr. Bannister enjoyed landscaping and gardening in his yard. He also enjoyed the beach, waterskiing, boating, cars and riding his motorcycle. He was of the Christian faith. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Smith Bannister of Temple; sons, Justin Lanier Bannister of Atlanta, Ryan Joseph Bannister of Villa Rica; several extended family members also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will lie in state at True Vine Pentecostal Church, Friday, October 7, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM from True Vine Pentecostal Church of Sandhill with Rev. Dennis Agan officiating.
