Buddy Thomas Owens

Mr. Buddy Thomas Owens, 61 of Morgan Road, Marietta, GA passed away, Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta He was born September 12, 1944 in Anniston, Alabama the son of the late Charles Owens and the late Mrs. Bama Beatrice Kilgore Owens. He was retired from the John Deer Landscaping and served in the United States Army Reserve. He was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiastic. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Bobbie Marie Adams. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Shannon Owens of Marietta, step daughter and step son-in-law, Stacey and Bill Hays of Marietta, Step-son, Eddie Caldwell of Canton, sister, Caffey Lumpkin of Rockmart, 2 grandchildren, Zachary Owens and Ashlee Owens both of Marietta, a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Hurston officiating. Interment will follow in the Oxford Memorial Gardens in Oxford, AL with Brother Marlin Lumpkin officiating.
