Buren Van Helton

Mr. Buren Van Helton, 75, of Tumlin Lake Road, Temple, Georgia passed away Monday, February 6, 2006 at Carrollton Nursing and Rehab Center in Carrollton, Georgia. He was born October 23, 1930, in Carroll County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Sellie Van Buren Helton and the late Beatrice Smith Helton. Mr. Helton was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a mechanic in auto repair. In addition to his parents, Mr. Helton was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer Helton. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irma George Helton of Temple; his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Donna Helton of Temple; grandchildren, Coty Helton of Temple and Tony and Chasta Helton of Temple; and great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Austin Helton of Temple. Private graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM from Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica with Rev. John H. George officiating. Interment followed at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
