Calvin Adair

Mr. Calvin A. Adair, age 58, of Panama City, FL., passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the hospital from serious health problems. He was born March 5, 1956 in Atlanta, GA the son of Mr. Bobby Wayne Adair and the late Mrs. Carolyn Owens Bateman. Mr. Adair worked as a truck driver for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rene Sams Adair; brother, Myron D. Adair; mother, Carolyn Bateman; grandparents, L. D. and Eunice Adair and Guy and Edna Owens. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Adair Williams and husband, Ronald Williams of Chipley, FL; father and step-mother, Bobby and Opal Adair of Dallas, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Herbert Hehir of Fayetteville, GA; brother, Timothy Roberts; one granddaughter. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will lie in state at New Georgia Baptist Church, Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM from New Georgia Baptist Church in Dallas with Dr. Keith Stell officiating. Musical selection will be provided by Madge Robinson. Interment will follow in New Georgia Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
