Carlene Canup

Mrs. Carlene Jean Gaudette Canup, 62, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016. She was born July 4, 1953 in Lebanon, New Hampshire the daughter of the late Mr. Raymond Albert Gaudette and the late Mrs. Phylis Violet Allard Gaudette. She married Dodge Curtis Canup on September 25, 1971 in Claremont, New Hampshire. She was a talented artist whom enjoyed both drawing and painting. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and she loved her church. She was devoted to her family and cherished her husband, daughter, and granddaughter. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dodge Curtis Canup of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Andrew Cool of Douglasville; one granddaughter, Emily Canup; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ty and Elaine Farnham of Bedford, VA and Keith and Joann Gaudette of Claremont, NH; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Tim Tatum officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
