Carol Dobbs

Carol Warren Dobbs, age 57, of Ephesus Church Road, Villa Rica passed way Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at her residence. Carol was employed with McCann Erickson advertising in Atlanta and was a Cosmetic Consultant at Merle Norman Cosmetics of Douglasville, where she made and loved many friends. Carol was preceded in death by her father Dr. Ira Warren, former pastor of Ephesus Baptist Church, and a special Aunt Elizabeth (Tibby) Johnson of Greensboro, NC. She will be remembered and deeply loved by those she leaves behind; her beloved husband A.J. Dobbs of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Annette Dobbs of Villa Rica; one daughter and son-in-law, Gwendy Beth and Chip Bishop of Villa Rica; four grandchildren, Jana, Cameron and Leah Dobbs and Madison Bishop, all of Villa Rica. Her mother, Gwen Warren of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law Tim and Karen Warren of Carrollton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Molly and Mike Mitchell of Winston, Beth and Mark Camp of Douglasville, Dorcas and Todd Cowan of Winston. Many nieces and nephews who loved her and will miss her. A.J.’s family was also very special to Carol. They are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise and Gerald Criswell, Peggy and Lamar Hembree, Sybil Herron, and Clara Brown and his brothers and sisters-in-law, A.C. Dobbs, Marvin and Helen Dobbs and Randy Dobbs all of Villa Rica, and Don and Melba Dobbs. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica with Dr. Billy Godwin and Rev. Neal Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Ephesus Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
