Carol Jeryene Holland Durham

Carol Jeryene Holland Durham, age 89, of Douglasville, passed away, Tuesday, September 27, 2022. She was born June 12, 1933 in Hiram, Georgia, daughter of the late Mr. Fred Holland and the late Mrs. Ethel Thompson Holland. Mrs. Durham loved crafts, sewing, church and Sunday school. She could often be found working on a Sudoku puzzle or reading her Bible.  She had a special love for her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Emory Franklin Durham; sister, Joyce Holland Entrekin.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Carollynn and Michael McMahan of Villa Rica, three sons and daughter-in-law, Steven and Janis Durham of Douglasville, Barry Durham of Douglasville, and Rick Durham of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law James and Mary Holland; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; numerous of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Dorsett Shoals Baptist Church in Douglasville on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Dorsett Shoals Baptist Church in Douglasville with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, Georgia.
