Carol Ann (Mueller) Hinchman, 90, was born on Sunday, June 7, 1936, and died Saturday, August 1, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Carol is survived by her loving brother, Thomas O. Mueller, her son Herbert R. Hinchman (Leslie), her daughter, Lana Hinchman Corley (Walter), her son who predeceased her earlier this year, Bradley S. Hinchman (daughter in law Sue Boatright Hinchman); Carol's grandchildren: Johnathan Duvoisin, Janet Duvoisin Lopez, Ann Duvoisin, Sara Hinchman Bouldin, Joseph Hinchman, Allie Hinchman Slotterback, Jason Hinchman and her 5.999 great grandchildren. Carol was cherished by a host of nieces and nephews who shared her joyful spirit.

Carol was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Her path on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.

Those who knew Carol will remember her for her infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, the best hugs, and her deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she met. Carol had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

Although Carol's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. As you continue to worship Jesus up there, Carol, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.

Carol's last request of her family was to acknowledge Fr. Stephen of St. George's Catholic Church in Newnan, GA and Fr. Adrian of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA and her church family from St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Douglasville, GA. A private graveside service at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Memorial Garden in Carrollton, GA will be in accordance with Carol's last wishes. She will be buried with her husband, Herbert Anson Hinchman (10/13/1932-6/9/2003).
