Carol Moomjian

Mrs. Carol Asdeg Movesian Moomjian, 89, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was born December 13, 1927 in Niagara Falls, New York, the daughter of the late Mr. Michael Movesian and Mrs. Shahanig Donigian Movesian. She worked as a Postal Worker for the United States Postal Service. She was an active member of her community, loved animals, served as president of the PTA and Garden Club, and was a member of the Armenian Orthodox Church. While residing in Orlando, she volunteered at Give Kids the World and Kissimmee Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harry Nishon Moomjian, three brothers: Kaiser Movesian, Sam Movesian, and George Movesian, two nieces: Leslie Goodwin, Dawn Movesian. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Steve Stricklin of Douglasville, Georgia, a son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Irene Moomjian of Boca Raton, Florida, sister: Shirley Haig of New York, sister-in-law, Patricia Movesian of New Jersey, three grandchildren: Tylor, Matthew, Sophia, six nephews: Jamie Movesian, Jeffrey Movesian, Kim Movesian, Scott Movesian, Michael Movesian, Matthew Movesian.In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Moomjian’s body was cremated.
