Carol Moore

Mrs. Carol Vaughn Moore, 73, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 18, 1941 in Austell, Georgia, the daughter of Mrs. Sudie Florine Woodall Vaughn and the late Mr. Lee Humphrey Vaughn. She worked as a Human Resources Manager at Lockheed-Martin and was a Christian by faith. She was a kind, generous, loving, and thoughtful person. She had a giving heart. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Vaughn. She is survived by her husband, Steven Wayne Vaughn of Douglasville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Toney Martin of Peachtree City, Rachel and Jason Vaughn of Vallajo, CA, and Amber and Richard Divine of Woodstock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Boake and Carol Moore of Roswell and Chris and Katie Moore of Marietta; her mother, Sudie Florine Woodall Vaughn; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Chuck Phillips of Jasper and Cindy and Steve Neck of Marietta; 11 grandchildren; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Friday, January 16, 2015 from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Brickyard at Marietta Square, 129 Church Street, Marietta, GA 30060. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Best Friends Animal Shelter, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741-5000.
