Carolyn Baker Blalock

Mrs. Carolyn Baker Blalock, age 65, of E. Ranchette Road, Temple, Georgia passed away Friday, March 14, 2008 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital following an extended illness. She was born December 2, 1942 in Fulton County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Herschel Donald Walker and the late Mrs. Margaret Anne Atwood Walker. Mrs. Blalock retired from Orcon Corporation. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 70. She was of the Baptist Faith In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Milton Walker and sister, Mildred Faith Randolph. She is survived by her husband, William B. Blalock of Temple; daughters and sons-in-law, Tracey Lynn and Tim Trammell of Loganville, GA, Julie Ann Harkins of West Palm Beach, FL and Charlene Michelle and John Coyle of Dallas, GA; son, Brian David Baker of Temple, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alvin Atwood Walker of Albany, Robert Vernon Walker of Ball Ground, James Anthony and Jean Walker of Alpharetta, Ralph Stanley Walker of Villa Rica, and Ronald Keith and Cyndi Walker of McDonough; 8 grandchildren, Norman, Amber, Autumn, Mason, Haley, Austin, Elissa, and Sheniqa; many close nieces, nephews and close lifelong friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Carolyn Baker Blalock will be conducted Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Wright Cemetery in Norcross at 1:30 PM. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday, March 17, 2008 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
