Carolyn Chaney

Ms. Carolyn Jane Chaney, age 71, of Villa Rica, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. She was born November 27, 1946 in Atlanta. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Frank Allison Chaney and the late Mrs. Mildred Ruth Barrett Chaney. Carolyn enjoyed reading, the beach, traveling and Texas. She retired after many years of service as a paralegal and legal assistant. Carolyn was a great seamstress and was an active member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class at Villa Rica First Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Harris. Carolyn is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Rhonda and Andy Dunham of Dallas, GA, Heather Floyd of Dallas, GA; sister, Deborah Harrell of Temple, GA; four grandchildren, David Bennett, Kinley O’Dell, Emily Bennett, and Sterling Morgan; and one niece Vicki Garner.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Doug New officiating.
