Carolyn "Jeanette" Echols

Mrs. Carolyn "Jeanette" Echols, age 85, of Winston, Georgia, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020. She was born in Douglas County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Milton Watkins and the late Mrs. Ethel Bartlett Watkins. Mrs. Echols loved to travel and play cards. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother who loved life and family was most important to her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Echols was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Watkins. She is survived by her husband of almost 69 years, Mr. Frank Forest Echols of Winston; her children, Cynthia Elaine Echols Wisener and her husband, Mike Wisener of the Fairplay area of Winston; David Frank and Debbie Echols of Villa Rica and Alicia Echols Brumbelow and her husband, Tim Brumbelow of Douglasville; her sister, Patricia Dendinger of Alpharetta; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn in Douglasville with Brother Moses Florence officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Douglasville.
