Carolyn Joyce Lance Sigler

Mrs. Carolyn Joyce Lance Sigler, age 69, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Carrollton Manor after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born August 21, 1940 in Lodi, Ohio, Carolyn raised her four sons in Medina, Ohio before moving to Georgia in 1983. She was employed at the Atlanta Board of Realtors, Dittler Paper, and retired from MagMutual Insurance Company. Carolyn is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse and Connie Sigler of Douglasville, GA; Chris and Patty Sigler of Morristown, TN; Russ and Mary Sigler of Douglasville, GA; and Todd and Kim Sigler of Medina, OH. She leaves behind ten grandchildren, Richard and Lisa Bloedow, Joseph Bloedow, Matthew, Hilary, Meghan, Brie, Sydney, Madison, and Jamie Sigler as well as four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah and Jacob Bloedow and Michaela Sigler. She also leavers her sister, Sharon Carpenter of Sarasota, FL and brother, Mark Lance of Ashland, OH. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Minister Richard Vartenisian officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Friday, April 16, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
