Carolyn Moore

Mrs. Carolyn Swann Watkins Moore, age 71, of Villa Rica, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence, Thursday, December 3, 2015. She was born July 26, 1944 in Carroll County, the daughter of the late Mr. Allen Swann and the late Mrs. Nannie Faye Cook Swann. She worked at Lowes Distribution for many years and retired from IKKA. She was a loving wife, mother, nana and sister. She enjoyed her family time and being a nana. Mrs. Moore was of the Baptist Faith.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Watkins; brother, Dorsey Swann; sisters, Ann Hannah and Barbara Norman; sister-in-law, Mary Whitehead. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ralph Moore of Villa Rica; daughter and son-in-law, Lhonda Watkins Edwards and Darren Edwards of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Lanny Watkins and Sandy Watkins of Bowdon; step-children, Jerry and Debra Watkins of Temple, Wanda and Kenneth Gray of Heard County, Jeff and TJ Moore of Temple, Elizabeth and Troy Thibodaux of LA; grandchildren, Lauren Henry of Villa Rica, Nathan Huffman of Villa Rica, Molly and Jack Watkins of Bowdon; seven step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Helen and Robert Willoughby of Villa Rica, Gaynelle and Robert Tolbert of Temple; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Curry of Villa Rica, Cathy Swann of New Georgia, Opal Long of Tennessee, brothers-in-law, Kirby Norman of Villa Rica, Donald Hannah of Villa Rica; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, December 4, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Neal Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Rodney Tolbert, Bobby Willoughby, Ricky Norman, Richard Swann, Jeff Moore and Dennis Shaw.
