Carolyn Louise Poss

Carolyn Louise Poss, 74, of Rossville, GA, passed away on September 13, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Eli Poss and Myrtie Lee Poss; her sister, Annie Ruth Poss (Billy) of Lithia Springs, GA; and her brothers, William (Bill) Andrew Poss, Howard Lee Poss, and James (Jim) Alvin Poss.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Billy Garner of Douglasville, GA; nieces, Sandra Ferris (Donn) of Winston, GA, Patsy Green (Perry) of Douglasville, GA, and Kathy Hill (Todd) of Dallas, GA; as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Carolyn retired from Wilkins Research Company in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a devoted animal lover and a proud “fur baby” mom to her two cats, Shadow and Leilani. Known for her tender heart, Carolyn enjoyed reading, spending time with her beloved pets, dining out with friends, and watching classic shows and movies.

Carolyn will be remembered for the love she shared with her family, friends, and pets.

A private cremation service will be held at a later date.
