Mrs. Carolyn Rose Menard, 62, of Winston passed away Monday, October 3, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Menard was born January 1, 1943 in Rayne, Louisiana the daughter of the late Mr. Leewood Terro and the late Mrs. Virginia Candies. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cake decorating and painting. She was of the Catholic faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father, Mr. Burce Candies. She is survived by her husband, Albert Roy Menard of Winston; three daughters and son-in-law, Carla and Michael Touchet of Douglasville, Christine and Talmadge Richard of Winston, Cindy Bourque of Kaplan, LA; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jody and Cheryl Menard of Youngsville, LA, Jamie and Robin Menard of Rayne, LA, Jeremy and Liz Menard of Rayne, LA; four sisters, Wanda Dordes of Rayne, LA, Sandra Comeaux of Rayne, LA, Dawn Dempster of Douglasville, Melanie Theriot of Lafayette; step-mother, Bernice Terro of Rayne, LA; three brothers, Curly, Anthony and Mark, all of Rayne, LA; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, October 04, 2005 at 6:00 PM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel with the Pastor Sam Warren officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery in Rayne, LA. The family received friends from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on October 4, 2005 from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel.
