Carroll Moore Sr.

Mr. Carroll Johnson Moore, Sr., 69, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He was born May 16, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Moore. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a retail associate at Advanced Auto Parts. Mr. Moore loved helping others and he enjoyed working in his yard. He loved to cook. He loved to laugh and joke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lee Camp Moore; son, Douglas Gregory Moore; and sisters, Jean, Brenda and Linda. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Carroll J. Moore, Jr. and his wife, Lauren of Dallas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Janie Calhoun of Loganville and Barbara and Oscar Davis of Dahlonega; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, June 24, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Jim Grieme officiating.
