Catherine Bernice Graham Spinks

Mrs. Catherine Bernice Graham Spinks, age 92, of North Tarnwood Place, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Spinks was born September 22, 1916 in North Harmony, New York, the daughter of the late Mr. Oscar Graham and the late Mrs. Mary Besterfeldt Graham. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in many capacities and was owner and operator with her husband for the family dairy farm business. Mrs. Spinks was devoted to her family and enjoyed the farm life very much. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spinks was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Edward Clifford Spinks; her son, Edwin Harold Spinks; and her grandsons, Dondi Edward Wilcox and Daniel Harold Spinks. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lucina and Joseph Mills of Villa Rica; her sisters, Onalie and Beunah; and several grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Garden of the Cross at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia with President Scott Hendrichsen officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Friday, September 26, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
