Catherine Hembree

Mrs. Catherine Alice Peterson Hembree, 88, of Temple, Georgia passed away Monday, August 08, 2016. She was born March 21, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. James Arthur Peterson and the late Irabel Goolsby Peterson. She was a devoted member of Concord United Methodist Church and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Ernest Hembree; and a grandson, Shane Hembree. She is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Horace and Sylvia Hembree of Temple, Rod and Sharon Hembree of St. Simon’s Island, Michael and Jan Hembree of Carrollton, and Alan and Kathy Hembree of Temple; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; 2 nieces and five nephews. The family will receive friends at the Concord United Methodist Church in Carrollton, Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Concord United Methodist Church in Carrollton with Pastor Mike Lowry and Pastor Linda Hessel officiating. Interment will follow at the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.
