Catherine Marie Kapostas

Mrs. Catherine Marie Kapostas, 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, November 11, 2005 at her residence. She was born February 15, 1927 in Bridgeport, Connecticut the daughter of the late Mr. Linwood Weller and the late Mrs. Anna Lane Weller. Mrs. Kapostas was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Douglasville. She was a secretary. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling, bingo, crossword puzzles and loved butter pecan ice cream. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kapostas in 1993. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen P. and Kenneth Cochran of Douglasville and Gale and Ronald Bergers of Stratford, Connecticut; two sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Kapostas and Irene DaPue of Long Pond, Pennsylvania and Glen and Donna Kapostas of Ansonia, Connecticut; one brother, Linwood Weller of Corona, CA; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 14, 2005 from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM with the family present from 4:00 PM until 7:00PM. A rosary service will be conducted on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Grace Memorial Gardens in Hudson, Florida.
