Charlene Berry

Mrs. Charlene Harriette Sparks Berry, age 73, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was born December 19, 1938 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Mr. Charles “Jack” Sparks and the late Mrs. Lorena O. Beck Barr. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Nowata, Oklahoma. She retired from Wells Fargo where she worked as a teller and loan officer supervisor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Newton Deal Baker Berry; sister, Margaret Joanne Park and brother, Phillip Gary Sparks. She is survived by her son, Phillip Anthony Berry and his fiancé, Jean Gribble of Douglasville; 3 grandchildren, Steven, Leah, and Victor; 1 great-grandson, Julian; cousin, Joe Sparks; brother-in-law, Clesson Park; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the First Christian Church in Nowata, Oklahoma with Pastor Rob Crawford officiating.
