Charles William Bice

Charles William Bice, 86, of Villa Rica, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. He was born on April 16, 1937. He is the son of the late Bill Bice and the late Opal Lee Bice.

Charles loved his Lord and Savior first and then his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren. Charles adored his family and cherished his time he spent with them. He was a dedicated deacon for fifty-one years and Sunday School Director at New Georgia Baptist Church for forty-five years. He was a valued, hardworking employee for GMC for thirty-seven years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie Bice and Jay Bice; sisters, Billie Lee Norton and Barbara Cook; brothers-in-law, Bud Bullock, Glenn Norton, and Jerry Seals; sisters-in-law, Polly Cohran and Mary Freeman.

He is survived by his wife, Malinda Austin Bice; daughter, Robin Parks of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Donna Bice of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Stephanie (Cliff) Armstrong, Kevin Parks, Jessica Lee Meek, Erica (Josh) Deavers, Ben (Hannah) Bice, and Rachel (Zach) Burns; great-grandchildren Braden Meek, Skyla Lee, Eli Lee, Jonah Lee, Luke Deavers, Sophie Kate Deavers, Rhett Deavers, Chase Armstrong, Will Armstrong, Mason Parks, Logan Parks, and Issac Parks; sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy Bullock of Dallas, Jean Seals of Villa Rica; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Denise Bice of Hiram; sisters-in-law, Marvene Bice of Dallas, and Maxine Harris; brothers-in-law, Johnny Cook of Powder Springs, Max Austin, and Ronnie (Phyllis) Austin.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at New Georgia Baptist Church. Interment will follow at New Georgia Baptist Church Cemetery.
