Charles Bray

Mr. Charles Thomas Bray, 85, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. He was born February 28, 1932 in Douglas, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Luther Eugene Bray and the late Mrs. Vera Woodrow Cooksey Bray. He married Sara Blanche on July 3, 1953 in College Park. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from General Motors following 37 years of service. Mr. Bray loved his family, woodworking and outdoor activities. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Derick Bray. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sara Blanche Bray of Douglasville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy and John Davidson; and Sandra Cross; son, Thomas Bray; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be conducted Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Cultural Arts Center, 8652 Campbellton Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.
