Charles Christopher Bright

Charles “Chris” Christopher Bright, age 48, a beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. He was born on May 21, 1976, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Mr. Herbert Bright and the late Mrs. Patricia Bundrum.

Described as an amazing and talented electrician, Chris took pride in his work and gained recognition for his skillset. He received many awards throughout his career, a testament to his hard work and dedication. Chris liked building things for his children showcasing his handyman skills and creativity. He often enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and found peace in natures beauty.

Although he was known for his quiet demeanor, Chris had a great sense of humor. As a true family man, Chris’s proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his family. He loved his wife and children, and was a great father.

In addition to his mother, Chris was preceded in death by his sister, Stacy Bright-West.

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Holly Bright; sons, Drake Bright and Aiden Bright; daughter, Peyton Bright; brothers, Herby Bright and John Bright; sister-in-law, Kim Land; nephews, Matthew Michael, Drew Chastain, Dylan Bright, Jonathan Bright, Matthew Reece and Kayden West; niece, Meagan Chastain and Nicole Mascroft.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 7, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. The funeral service will take place on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. The interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica.
