Charles Dowdy

Mr. Charles Eugene “Gene” Dowdy, age 61, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. He was born March 16, 1956 in Rome, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Clifford E. Dowdy and the late Mrs. Bobbie Light Dowdy. He worked in the construction industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon L. Dowdy. He is survived by two brothers, Leslie “Les” Dowdy of Douglasville and Russell Dowdy of Austell. According to his wishes, the body was cremated. The family plans to celebrate his life privately.
