Charles Edward Newberry

Mr. Charles Edward Newberry, 76, of Temple, Georgia passed away Friday, October 5, 2007 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1931 in Ponce de Leon, Florida; the son of Newell Joseph Newberry and Willie Fuller Newberry Rodgers. Mr. Newberry retired as a supervisor from Lockheed, having worked there for thirty-eight years. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica. Survivors include his wife of fifty three years, Edna Gibson Newberry of Temple; daughters and son in-laws, Susan M. and Phil Taylor of Temple; and Deborah and James McMichen of Powder Springs; sisters, Annette Huddleston of Montgomery, Alabama; and Charlotte Rodgers Ory of Marrero, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jeremy McMichen, Jaime McMichen, Erin Taylor, and Lindsey Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, October 8, 2007 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, in Villa Rica with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Mr. Newberry’s final resting place will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia at a later time. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Tanner Hospice Care, P.O.
