Mr. Charles Edward Parrish, Sr., 61, of Villa Rica, Georgia, formerly of Lithia Springs, passed away Friday, November 10, 2006 at his residence. He was born December 5, 1944 in Fulton County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Theodore Parrish and the late Mrs. Viola Montine Reid Parrish Agan. Mr. Parrish was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked as a meat cutter for Winn Dixie and as a coater operator for Print Pac. Mr. Parrish was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Parrish was preceded in death by his step-father, Mr. Pink Agan. Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Parrish of Acworth; his sons and daughters-in-law, Charles E. Parrish, Jr. and his wife, Linda Parrish of Blue Ridge and David Parrish of Villa Rica; sister, Jeanette Watkins of Cumming; brothers, James Parrish of Jackson and Jackie Roebuck of Buford; 2 grandchildren, Brandi Parrish and Kayla Parrish; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 1:00 PM from The Church at Mirror Lake with Pastor Frank McTyre officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Mason and Cliff Cannon. Inurnment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia with military honors rendered by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
