Charles Hendrix

Mr. Charles Darrell Hendrix, age 70, of Whitesburg, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. He was born June 14, 1941 in Carrollton the son of the late Mr. William Noble Hendrix and the late Mrs. Cleophas Morris Hendrix. He loved hunting, dirt track racing, gardening and puzzles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Louise Williams Hendrix. He is survived by his daughter and fiance, Deniece Watson and Tracy Gilman of Roanoacke, AL; sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy D. and Wendy Hendrix of Carrollton and David E. Hendrix of Carrollton; seven grandchildren, Derek and Lindsey Watson, Josh Hendrix, Christina Hendrix and Kevin Darby, Riley Hendrix, Cody Cannon, Adam Cannon, and Nicki Sears; four great-grandchildren, Colby Watson, Jacob Watson, Brayden Watson and Logan William Hendrix. Memorial Service will be conducted Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Messages of condolences may be sent from www.jones-wynn.com.
