Charles Frederick Leach, Sr., 74, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was born on September 26, 1951, the son of the late Donald Leach and the late Betty Leach.
He was a dedicated Supervisor for a mailing company, and he retired early in 1999.
Beyond his professional achievements, Charles was a man of diverse passions and interests. A devoted Nintendo player and avid video gamer, he found joy in the world of gaming, often sharing his love for this hobby with friends and family. He was also a connoisseur of music and films, consistently seeking out the best sounds and stories to enjoy. His playful spirit shone through in his enjoyment of television gameshow classics like Family Feud, where his wit and humor made for memorable moments.
A true traveler at heart, Charles had a special affinity for the Philippines, often visiting to soak in the culture and connect with its people and family. He cherished the experiences these travels afforded him, sharing stories of adventure and discovery with those close to him. In his leisure time, he also delighted in visiting casinos and restaurants, relishing the vibrant energy they offered.
To those who knew him well, Charles was described as handsome and outgoing, possessing a reserved yet delightful sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. He was a great husband, devoted to his family, always prioritizing their well-being and happiness.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Charles Frederick Leach, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife Junith Leach; daughters, Kathleen Leach and Betty Lou; son, Keith Leach; brothers, Donald Leach, Mark Leach, Bob Leach, and Rick Leach; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.
Charles leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and affection that will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. His spirit will continue to shine through the memories shared by friends and loved ones as they honor his beautiful life.
