Charles Pierce

Charles Joseph Pierce, Sr. 71, of Temple, GA passed away, Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Carrollton Nursing and Rehab in Carrollton. He was born August 23, 1943 in Elizabeth City, NC the son of the late Clifton James Pierce and the late Mavis McClellen Hebert. He was a veteran of the US Army. After he served in the military he worked for LSU and SLU as a Maintenance Supervisor for 45 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Arms Pierce and son Charles Pierce, Jr. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Doug Jones of Temple, Georgia, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering in New Orleans, LA, Saturday, January 3, 2015. Also, there will be a local Celebration of Life Reception, Monday, January 5, 2015 at Southern Hill Christian Church, 1103 Hwy 113, Carrollton, Georgia from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
