Charles Swafford

Charles E. SwaffordMr. Charles E. Swafford, age 62, of Temple, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born May 31, 1951 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. H. D. Swafford and the late Mrs. Ina George Swafford. He worked for Woody Trucking Company for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles Donald Swafford.He is survived by his wife, Linda Stover Swafford of Temple; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Robert Shaver of Woodstock; Michelle and Chris Boyd of Temple, Jessica Lynn Britt of Carrollton; son, Brandon Bohannon of Temple; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Terry Finley of Alabama; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lee and Kathy Swafford of Temple, Gene and Lynn Swafford of Temple, Eddie Swafford of Dallas; sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 27, 2014 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Bryant, Rev. Mark McIntosh officiating.
