Charles Bernon Webb

Mr. Charles Bernon Webb, age 86, of Lithia Springs, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born August 24, 1937 in Atlanta to the late Mr. Bernon PatrickWebb and the late Mrs. Mary Blanche Webb. 

Throughout his life, Charles had a deep love for reading. He was an avid reader, immersing himself in the worlds created by various authors. In addition to his love for reading, exercise played a vital role in Charles' life. He recognized the importance of physical fitness and made it a priority and a passion. Charles's dedication led him to participate in marathons over the years, conquering distances that pushed the limits of his endurance.
But among all his pursuits, Charles found solace and tranquility amidst nature's beauty, Sweetwater Park held a special place in his heart. Known for his unwavering focus and commitment to all aspects of life, Charles inspired everyone around him through his actions rather than words. He approached each task with dedication and attention to detail, setting high standards for himself and never settling for anything less than excellence.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mrs. Doris Faye Webb; granddaughter, Victoria Webb; brother, Gerald Webb.

He is survived by his sons, Perry (Deanna) Webb of Villa Rica and Greg (Donna) Webb of Jasper; grandchildren, Jacob (Rachel) Webb, Kayla (Nathan) Snow, Christopher (Janet) Webb, Krisdeana (Patrick) Coffee, Amanda (Michelle Keaton) Webb; great grandchildren, Lillian, Bennett, Presleigh and Tristian; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Friday, January 5, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.
