Charlotte Jean Jerrell

Charlotte Jean Jerrell, 84, of Carrollton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1941, the daughter of the late Eugene Emerson Tubbs and the late Theresa Sargent Tubbs.

She had a profound love for nature and dogs. Charlotte loved spending time outdoors, where she would often sit quietly, listening to the sounds of birds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Tubbs.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Scott of Carson City, Nevada, Ronald and Janice Scott of Carrollton, Russell Scott of Carrollton, and Rick Scott of Clarksville, Georgia; brother, John Tubbs of Tennessee; grandchildren, James Scott, Stephanie Peebles, Charles Peebles, Jake Scott, Dalton Scott (Rose), Mitch Scott (Brandy), Leah Jones (Jason), Annie Scott (Shon Anderson), Walker Scott, Autumn Scott, Hunter Scott (Sasha), Mackenzie Scott, Logan Scott, Kolby Scott, Caylee Scott, Hunter Scott and Winter Scott; great-grandchildren, Ava, Rowan, Milo, Darcy, Lily, Irena, and Sawyer; nieces and nephews.

Charlotte Jean Jerrell leaves behind a loving memory that will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire a love for nature and animals in generations to come.

The family will have a memorial service on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel.
