Charlotte Yarbrough Whisenhunt

Charlotte Yarbrough Whisenhunt, age 82, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021. She was born February 27, 1939 in Subligna, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Roy L. Yarbrough and the late Mrs. Lena Viola Brown Yarbrough. Mrs. Whisenhunt was a retired beautician – having worked at Lois' Beauty Shop in downtown Villa Rica for over a decade. Charlotte had many creative talents – including painting, but was widely known for being an amazing cook. She took great pride in making a strong and healthy home, and was a gifted storyteller, a great listener, and a great friend. She and her late husband David were active members of District Line Methodist Church in Temple, GA – where she sang in the church choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Sawyer Whisenhunt. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa "Terri" Whisenhunt Morrow of Villa Rica; three grandchildren, Carrie Gollahon Pannell, Shane Gollahon (Christy), and Dustin Morrow; six great grandchildren, Cami Stafford (Christian), Ansley Pannell, Tiffany Pannell, Laykin Pannell, Hannah Gollahon, and Mavaron Stafford; and two great-great grandchildren, Ava and Caiden Stafford; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.
