Chelsea Thomas

Miss Chelsea Juliette Thomas, age 23, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born October 10, 1988 in Waycross, Georgia. She was a Christian by faith. She worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for Lee Family Dentistry in Hiram. She was a loving, kindhearted country girl who was full of life. She enjoyed music, hunting, riding motorcycles, mud bogging and drag racing. She loved to laugh and have fun with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Brown Thomas; brother, Rex Lawton Cason and grandfather, Jerry Brown Thomas, Sr. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Regina Faye Lyons Mealor and Douglas Mealor of Villa Rica; sister and brother-in-law, Goldie and Shawn Sweat of Patterson, GA; stepsisters, Sherilyn Desiree Cole of Statham and Ellen Nichole Lusk of Athens; grandparents, Bertha and Al Green of Mt. Airy, Juliette Thomas of Merritt Island, FL, Wilma and Winton Thorton of Blackshear, and Lewis Matthew Lyons of Offerman, GA; fiancé, Steven Aja of Douglasville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. According to her family’s wishes her body was cremated. Memorial Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 5:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 3:00 PM until the service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
